The North Star Retreat Booking Terms 

  • Run by Summit To Do and co-hosted by Clare Paterson Ltd.
  • There are twelve places for women only, each with a private bedroom – or a discounted price for those looking to share with a friend.
  • The total price is £1,280 per woman.
  • This includes three nights of accommodation, all meals and snacks, and the retreat programme, including a guided walk.
  • Travel is not included.
  • Your place is confirmed once your first payment is received.
  • We reserve the right to decline a booking. 
  • The North Star Retreat is a women-only retreat. This reflects the purpose and design of the retreat, and the nature of the discussions and activities involved. The retreat is offered on this basis in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010 relating to single-sex services.
  • The venue(s) pictured have been used at previous North Star retreats, but the location is not guaranteed and may be subject to change. We will endeavour to choose a centrally located and equally enjoyable venue in the event of a change.

Your right to change your mind

  • You have a 14-day cooling-off period after booking.
  • If you cancel within those 14 days, you’ll receive a full refund.

If you need to cancel later

After the 14-day cooling-off period:

  • More than 30 days before the retreat
    • You’ll receive a refund of all payments made to date, minus a £50 administration fee.
  • 30 days or less before the retreat
    • We’re unable to offer a refund, as costs are already committed.
  • You may transfer your place to someone else, subject to our agreement.

We strongly recommend your own travel insurance to cover unexpected changes.

If we have to cancel

If we need to cancel the retreat for any reason, you’ll receive:

  • a full refund of payments made to date, or
  • the option to transfer your payments made to date to a future retreat (if available).

A few important notes

  • This retreat is not therapy or medical support.
  • You’re always free to opt out of any activity – listening to yourself comes first.
  • Sharing information is always optional and we ask everyone to treat each other’s stories and experiences as confidential.
