Description
Hike the West Highland Way in 8 days alongside a group of women taking on the same challenge. The West Highland Way (WHW) is one of the shortest but most beautiful thru-hikes in the country, so it makes the perfect adventure for both first-timers and seasoned hikers.
All luggage transfers are included so you can focus on the important thing – your journey. The big decision is whether you want to camp all the way, or whether you would prefer to sleep in a bed (we offer both options). On the night before the hike begins, the 31st, the camping group will stay in hard accommodation with the other group for a kit check.
If you choose to camp, you will need to provide your own camping gear. If you need any support with this, please contact us. You will be emailed a full kit list upon booking.
If you choose to stay in hard accommodation, this will be a mix of hiking huts, hostels and hotels. You will be sharing rooms with other people on the same trip. If you require a private room, please contact us to arrange.
Breakfast will be continental or cereal options. Lunch will be sandwiches and other snacks. Dinners will be cooked by the host every night, except for the 5th night at Bridge of Orchy where the host will take the full group for a pub meal.
Each day hiking will start at 9am, evenings are free time to socialise, eat and rest.
